Child Visitation
Many people confuse child visitation with child custody. They are very different principles. Visitation refers to the parenting time for the parent who does not have custody. This includes a visitation schedule, specific dates, pick-up and drop-off times, and visit locations.
In some cases, a judge will order supervised visitation. For example, if one parent poses a threat to the child, a judge will order supervised visitation to ensure the child’s safety and well-being.
Not all parents have a standard 9am–5pm job, so there are a variety of visitation schedules you can discuss with us. Please call for a consultation at 310.481.0300.
